• The heart pumps blood down to the legs through the arteries.
• The deoxygenated blood needs to be pumped back from the legs to the heart through the veins.
• In a healthy person, the calf muscles act as a pump for this purpose.
• The veins have valves to ensure that the blood does not flow back down due to gravity.
• If these valves become weak, blood accumulates in the veins of the leg leading to varicose veins.

DIRECTION FOR USE:

• Insert the stocking on to the applicator with the toe of the stocking facing forward. Then turn the upper border inside out and slide it down the applicator till the heel appears at the adge.
• Slip your foot, toes first, into the toe part of the stockings.
• By pulling up the applicator slide the stockings up towards the knee.
• Remove the applicator, After the fitting, be sure the heel portion of the stocking is properly placed on your heel. Smooth out any wrinkles by stroking with the palm of your hands.

Instruction for use:

• Peel off the release paper 1 and fix that part of the dressing on to the wound site.
